Get ready, get set, GLOW!

Jellyfish are found all over the world and come in various shapes, sizes and colors. In this project, students will create a jellyfish on black paper using regular chalk pastels and then use fluorescent chalk to add glow to the piece. Students will explore analogous, warm, and cool colors.

This project is inspired by the bright and beautiful work of Kimberly Leahey from Saratoga Springs, NY, who uses acrylics to paint black light paintings.

Included in this art project:

* 9 pages of step-by-step instructions with photos and a jellyfish photo guide

* an information sheet on jellyfish for students (or for yourself!)

Because of the nature of this digital product, all sales are final.
